"I had a mixed experience during my 5-night stay at this NYC hotel. The location was absolutely perfect for my Broadway-focused trip - couldn't have asked for better positioning to catch shows.\n\nThe Positives:\nThe room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff truly stood out. Every team member I encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile whenever we crossed paths. This level of consistent hospitality made a real difference in my stay.\n\nThe Negatives:\nThe single elevator was painfully slow, to the point where I gave up and used the stairs for most of my stay. Despite specifically requesting no housekeeping, the service continued daily regardless of my preferences. The breakfast was standard fare - nothing special but adequate.\n\nValue Concerns:\nMy biggest disappointment was the poor value when booking with Marriott Bonvoy points. I later discovered I could have saved $40 per night by paying cash instead, making my 5-night points redemption feel like a significant waste of rewards currency.\n\nWhile the staff's warmth and the prime location were definite highlights, the elevator issues and especially the poor points value prevent me from rating this stay higher. Future travelers should carefully compare cash vs. points pricing before booking."

"Look, first of all, I'm from Brazil. In Brazil, it's very common for many hotels, including the vast majority, to have room service and breakfast every day. And, considering the daily rate that was mentioned, around 2000 reais, if any Brazilian is reading this, know that you won't get the same services if, for example, you use those 2000 reais to stay at a hotel here in Brazil. That's why I have to base my assessment on local hotels in the city.\n\nSo, let's get to it, the room is small, not very big, there's no light above the bed, which is very common in many other hotels and even in American homes, so it might seem like the room is dark, because they use a lamp. The room is clean and the cleaning service works.\n\nThe room is very well equipped, with a mini fridge, a two-burner induction stove, and a dishwasher. It is in an EXCELLENT location. You can do practically everything nearby, either by walking or by taking the subway, as there are several stations nearby.\n\nThe staff were great, very polite, and we had no problems. There is breakfast, but there are not many places to sit. I think that was the worst part. Overall, I thought it was a great experience. I would definitely go back, and I would like to thank all the staff, especially the reception staff.\n\nIt is a good room, which will ensure you have a good night's sleep. Don't expect a great view, because you won't have one, nor much of a leisure area. Furthermore, the television is also terrible. We had a lot of problems, as it kept disconnecting all the time. However, the internet was of great quality. Their internet is very good."
