Situated just a short walk from Gramercy Park, it offers easy access to one of the city's charming green spaces.\n\nIf you're visiting Baruch College, this hotel is particularly convenient, being only a couple of blocks away. This makes it an ideal option for students or families attending events there.\n\nThe staff at the Lex Hotel were exceptionally nice and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was clean, and I was impressed with the air conditioning, which worked wonderfully during my visit.\n\nOverall, if you're looking for a comfortable, no-frills place to stay in a great location, the Lex Hotel is definitely worth considering."

"First off, our room number was a printed piece of paper that was taped to the door…. Bad room, poor service, and they were not transparent about the fact that their parking partnership can choose to honor a discount on parking, despite taking all the proper routes to validate the ticket and communicate the issue. Parking issue aside let’s talk about the actual hotel since parking technically isn’t their issue despite their partnership:\nThe woman who checked us in was the least pleasant/informative person the planet.\nOur $300 a night room was in the basement where the walls were lined with plastic plants that were seemingly melting as the hallway constantly reeked like burnt plastic.\nWe could not even call up to ask for a different room as the phone was unplugged and the cord was nowhere to be found.\nThey were by no means understanding let alone accommodating to any expressed concerns and merely made an excuse for any issue that was addressed (room being in basement and parking not actually discounted).\nHope this is insightful for someone who is looking to stay in the area which is a great location."

"An economical hotel. We did not realize what we were getting into. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. BUT the hotel is small, a small little breakfast in the morning for a hot minute, room is very small, mini desk, no electrical outlets in the bathroom, no coffee maker or mini refrigerator, but a patio of all weird things. Conveniently located but unless you want a minimal room, then this may not be for you. Room rates were fair but minimal accommodations."
