"I’ve stayed at the Belvedere since 1980’s. My experiences have for the most part been great.\nThe doorman are great. The front desk are for the most part always been nice. Your star person is/was Michael. He embodies customer service in every way possible! Excellent person.\nThis trip, the tv didn’t work(a person sent promptly to repair), the refrigerator didn’t work(a replacement was provided next day, however my dairy went bad), lastly the air conditioner stopped working. Taking into consideration the outside temperatures that day and we also apparently weren’t the only ones with issues. ( service came and repaired before end of night)\nRooms are very clean but some do need upgrading.\nThe only thing I always say is, you should provide your loyal customers with some type of perks. Be it an upgrade or a free night."

"Great location - clean rooms and overall good hotel. Stayed several days with a family of 4. Close to everything but on a relatively quiet street. Easy to walk from or catch the subway. Not the newest hotel but great as a place to rest between NYC adventures. Would definitely stay there again! Could use more outlets - we all had devices that needed to be charged."

"'ve stayed at many hotels in this price category in NYC and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised at The Belvedere! The hotel is a bit older but I liked it's character and the pluses more than made up for it. It was clean, the rooms and bathrooms were huge and very comfortable. I had the best shower i've had in a long time! The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's a smaller hotel so you feel very taken care of. It's in a great neighborhood with a ton close by buy also feels more relaxed. We will be staying here from now on."
