"Really nice place to stay in mid-town. All hotel rooms are small in this area but pineapple has some creative room features like a slide out desk and under-bed rolling luggage rack to help save space. One word of caution - don't book the 2 twin room unless it's for children. It's about half the size of the king room. Loved the individual duvets!\n\nThe front desk in particular was terrific, especially Luis who went above and beyond for us."

"Good reviews on Google and Booking are a major mistery to me.\n\nRoom: furniture is damaged/run down, even smaller than the NYC standard (for a single ok, not for a couple), no desk/chair, no accessible baggage stand, only a bed taking all the space and a tiny bathroom with showers that flood the space. Bed is comfortable enough. Design is atrocious and looks like an ugly brothel from the 80s.\n\nCleaning: over a 4 nights stay, I managed to get the room serviced only once (ie, fresh towels, but still NO cleaning), despite regularly asking at reception. I see this is a recurring problem in reviews, so one could assume it’s a comming practice to save some bucks on cleaning personnel?\n\nCheck in/out: my flight to NYC was cancelled, hence I contacted StayPineapple to inform I was going to miss the 1st night, but to please keep the rest of the reservation. Despite confirmation this would be the case, my reservation was cancelled. When I showed up, however, they still had rooms that day, so I could continue the stay as planned.\n\nValue for money: if you go in a low season period, you’ll find far better value for money in 5* across the corner at the last minute, for the same price. This, by my standards, is at the very most a 3* hotel and positive reviews appeared to me as absolutely a mistery/not justified. I was about to check out when I saw the sad and tiny room, but gave up as I was too tired to move stuff.\n\nWill ever come back? No. Like, never."

"If you're looking for a extremely comfortable bed, clean rooms and a cool vibe, this is your hotel. Check-in was a breeze and they give you free stuff upon arrival. They have a automatic fountain that gives you bubbly water and filtered water right at the lobby. We were in a heatwave in the room and hotel were perfectly pictured to cool us off. Front desk clerks (we had 2) we're both very helpful and courteous. When looking for a hotel that's not extremely expensive. This will be the one we go to in every city we can find them"
