"We were in a basement room, which I wouldn’t care too much about normally. However, the maids and cleaners are based down here too and work in the basement. So from 7am to 8pm you hear them cleaning and moving rubbish bags.\n\nThe rubbish bags are dumped all over the basement and it wasn’t a good impression especially when blocking fire exits.\n\nThe basement had a musky smell, but saying that most of the hotel did. It was quite bad.\n\nThe rooms were old and abused, from exposed wires to toilets physically moving. The place was not in good condition, the heating did not work very well and was very loud when it did work. The place easily lost the heat meaning that you’d wake up freezing in the middle of the night.\n\nThe Included breakfast was better than expected and handy to have but with a choice of two different hot foods. The quality varied each day.\n\nFor the price you pay, I’d advoid and pay more to stay somewhere nicer. Don’t waste your money."

"Person at reception is very deceptive and tried to trick us with prices and said it’s only business. Maybe that’s his understanding of business but does not know how honest business is conducted. He initially said there was only one room available and it was the suite but when we negotiated he gave us a different room and clearly gave up his position of saying only 1 rooms was available. Complete waste of time. Horrible"

"So if you are staying in this hotel is because you wanted to save some money and it’s alright.\nThe rooms are small but they are fine and clean.\nI have no complains about any issue. The breakfast is ok to decent and the staff is nice.\nThe only thing that was kinda bad was that you will find a lot of homeless just outside the hotel, also a lot of trash. But if you don’t mind that, you will have a nice and cheap stay in NYC"
