"The website gives a completely different picture than what you really get.\nThe room we had - carpet was dirty, shower had mold - and the AC unit was badly scratched (could have been painted)\nThe bed itself was very comfortable.\nThe hotel did have a good location to most everything\nAlso they are under construction in the front, so that didn't look so good.\nThe "breakfast" was a joke - some day old type muffins and 3 boxes of crappy cereal. Coffee was terrible.\nWould not stay here again, until these things were fixed."

"The rooms and the location are very good.\nThe front desk staff that received us was very attentive and welcoming...\n\nThe rooms are very comfortable and the one we got was very quiet...\nBut the AC device in the room was too noisy.\nWe had to change rooms since the front door was not closing properly...\n\nWith breakfast service we were deeply disappointed... this hotel was available on booking.com with breakfast included and when we arrived to have the breakfast there were only cereal muffins, coffee, and tea...nothing else!\nWhen we discussed this situation with the manager he said that was a "continental" breakfast (a muffin and a coffee!!!!) And after some arguments, he said that there's no breakfast (they dont charge additional for breakfast!!!) as this is hotel amenities... and we search as well booked a hotel with breakfast included...so it's really not correct this kind of false advertisement/marketing... Also at booking.com it is stated "breakfast" from 7h to 11h am and at the hotel informed that "breakfast" was only up to 10 am...\n\nSo if you look for an hotel with breakfast included...this is not the one you should choose 😉..."

"My husband and I enjoyed our 6 night stay here at Moderne and had an amazing time in NY!\nYes, as others have stated, rooms are on the smaller side but they are clean and super comfortable. Coffee and “breakfast” was not much to be desired and there is tons of construction going on right outside.\nWith that being said, the location cannot be beat and more importantly the staff were absolutely wonderful! We will undoubtedly stay here again when we come back. Special shout out to Khalid for being so helpful and going above and beyond! All the staff is truly awesome."
