"Incredibly loud, but most of the staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean.\nFelt very dated but not run down. Breakfast worked but wasn’t fantastic. Beds were comfortable. No TV channels but that’s not a big deal. My sink faucet was leaking like crazy all over the floor and the first words out of the front desk lady’s mouth was about my security deposit and asking me how I broke it. Made me mad. Everyone else was very nice and helpful though. My only other real complaint is the noise. All night long. Not sure if it’s because of a lack of insulation or what but this room was 10x noisier than the Hampton over in the Financial District. I didn’t sleep at all and it kinda ruined the following day. Nearest subway station is 6 blocks or so away and there’s nothing except the bridge close by. This hotel definitely isn’t worth the cost and I doubt I’ll be back. Too dated, too loud, and too inconvenient."

"We stayed here while on our first trip to NYC. This side of town much more mellow. Which I didn't mind. Hotel was clean, 9 floors and less 60 rooms if I'm not mistaken. All staff were very nice and pleasant. What really did it for me was Cesar in the café. Super sweet, very humble. Always helping and cleaning. Because of him and how he treated my family and all other guests there I would stay here again."

"The hotel is older & you can tell, but it is clean and comfortable. Plus, their service truly is 5 star! The breakfast attendant practically serves you at your seat and after only 1 morning, knew my order! The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helped to accommodate us, even though we arrived super early for our check-in. We asked to swap out our towels after the 2nd day and they were very quick to send someone up!\nI would happily stay here again next time I visit the Financial District!!"
