Lodges At Cresthaven

"This is our 3rd year returning to The Lodges at Cresthaven and each year gets better and better! The rooms are spacious and so clean. We stay in the Oak Tree Lodge and have the most Beautiful view with a huge balcony. These rooms have two large bedrooms with a large common area and kitchen in between. There are two large modern bathrooms as well. It’s perfect for our family. There are daily activities that keep our boys (ages 8 and 10) busy, their most favorite day is Carnival Day where they get fresh popcorn and snow cones by the pool. The pool is beautiful and overlooking the lake. The boathouse restaurant is perfect for lunch and they even have service by the pool on most days. There is a nice beach and they have smores and bonfires at night and live music on the beach. It’s truly the best place to stay in Lake George.The grounds are very well maintained and the staff are all friendly and helpful especially Liana. We can’t wait to come back again next year and make more memories !"

"This is our second visit to The Lodges at Cresthaven,June 15-20,2025. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place and I’ve been to many. Excellent location,and if you’re staying in the top rooms a million dollar view for sure! We were in a two bedroom by the lake and absolutely loved it as well. If there are any issues at all you just text the front desk and they will take care of it usually within 10 minutes. We look forward to coming back again next year. "Pros: great view of the lake and mountains, multiple areas with outdoor activities (basketball, cornhole, bocce, playground) and lots of outdoor seating; rooms were spacious and stocked with toiletries, cleaning supplies and full appliances, outdoor deck was roomy and a great place to enjoy the view. My kids said the pullout couch was comfortable. The main bedroom was comfortable as well. The multilevel lodging buildings are handicap accessible with elevators from the parking areas.\n\nCons: noisy (the toilet flushing from a neighboring unit made a racket, we could hear our neighbors in the connecting unit); the curtains are thin and do not block much of the sunrise, which is tough since most of the back walls are windows that the face east. The resort WiFi was spotty and our room WiFi didn’t work at all; we couldn’t connect to any device. Again, not a dealbreaker for most vacationers but my family has a diabetic who manages it through his cell phone and it helps to have stable WiFi.\n\nThe biggest oddity was the front desk service. Anytime we interacted with the desk it seemed like it was an inconvenience to the staff. They were never rude but didn’t seem like they wanted to help you unless you really needed it or pushed.\n\nBring your own beach towels for the pool and beach. We called the desk to see if they would be put lying some out at the pool but were told they don’t provide towels for the pool. I don’t know this is how hotels in the region operate and we were close enough to town to buy towels but it caught me off guard."
