"We recently stayed at Lake Crest Inn and overall had a pleasant experience. The place was clean, but there was a strong odor, possibly coming from the carpets. However, the front desk staff was very friendly and provided us with great recommendations as soon as we arrived.\nOne of the highlights was the conveniently located café on-site that offered delicious breakfasts. We also appreciated the option to rent kayaks and paddle boards right there, which made our stay even more enjoyable.\nWhile the access to the beach is a bit small, we still had a great time enjoying the lake. The inn is situated in the heart of everything, so it was easy to walk to nearby attractions. We would definitely consider staying here again!"

"We started going to Lake Crest Inn about 20 years ago because of the ease of walking downtown. We park the car and walk to everything we need. We have been going every year. My adult kids come along with our grandkids and we make our own family reunion. It is a great place that is always making improvements and the staff is fantastic. We can not wait till next year. Their kind reassurance truly put me at ease.\n\nUpon my arrival, I found the key exactly where I was instructed, and the room itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable sanctuary after a long day of driving. I greatly appreciated the attention to detail, from the fresh linens to the well-stocked amenities.\n\nOne of the standout features of the Lake Crest Inn is its fantastic location. Nestled in the heart of Lake George with private lake access, I was able to easily walk to many local attractions, restaurants, and shops, avoiding the hassle of traffic and parking during the busy holiday weekend.\n\nLastly, I cannot praise the friendly and honest staff enough. During my stay, I misplaced one of my two room keys. Upon checkout, I informed the woman at the front desk, who explained that I would be charged for a replacement if the key was not found. However, a day later, I received an email notifying me that the key had been found by another hotel and returned to the Inn, so I would not incur any charges. Such integrity is a rare find these days, and it was a most pleasant surprise.\n\nI wholeheartedly recommend the Lake Crest Inn to anyone seeking a comfortable stay with exceptional and honest service. I look forward to my next visit!"
