"Great location very close to the Flatiron building and Madison Square Garden. We were allowed an early check-in before noon. The room was way better than I expected. Everything was clean and well stocked. We were also able to keep the luggage at the reception until our flight post checkout.\nThe only problem I had with our stay was that they didn't replace the towels and coffee supplies properly. Otherwise everything was good."

"Worst hotel experiences I’ve had at a Hilton property!\n\nI stayed here on June 29, 2025. After taking a shower that evening, I found the bathroom and part of the bedroom flooded. I called the front desk right away, and an engineer came to check it out. He found nothing wrong with the toilet or sink and took a video of the damage.\n\nThen the manager came up — and instead of being understanding, he immediately took a cold, suspicious tone and blamed me for “not closing the shower door properly.” It was very unprofessional and honestly insulting. I explained that I had closed it, but he dismissed my points and had the engineer repeat that it must be my fault.\n\nThe manager then suggested doing a “test” with the door closed — and sure enough, water leaked right through the bottom of the glass door. That clearly proved it was a design or maintenance issue, not my mistake. Only then did they apologize and say I wouldn’t be charged for damages.\n\nThey moved me to a “city view” room as if it were a big favor, but it was already almost midnight, it was completely dark outside, and I had an important appointment early the next morning. What I needed was rest, not a view.\n\nTo make things worse, I noticed the shower in the new room had a proper bottom seal — unlike the original room. What’s most concerning is that if I hadn’t insisted it wasn’t my fault, I could have been charged thousands of dollars for repairs!!! This makes me wonder if other guests have been unfairly blamed and charged for flooding that was actually caused by Hilton’s own faulty design or poor maintenance. I might have been the first to push back.\n\nOverall, I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and disappointed. This property needs to work on professionalism, guest care, and maintaining their rooms properly!"

"I stayed at the Hilton New York Fashion District for one night and was happy to return after a positive experience on a previous visit. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well-kept, and the location is excellent for getting around the city. I especially appreciated the in-room fridge — a rare and welcome feature in New York hotels.\n\nThat said, I did encounter a frustrating issue worth noting. The hotel prominently features signage and website listing (under their dining tab) for the rooftop bar, creating the impression that it’s affiliated with the hotel. The elevator even includes additional branding linkings of the bar and hotel. However, guests are not informed at check-in that the bar is independently operated and does not accept Hilton member food and beverage credits. When I reached out to share this feedback, I received what seemed like an automated response that did not address my concerns. Only after clarifying that I wasn’t seeking compensation did I get a more thoughtful reply — still a bit disappointing given Hilton’s usual standard of service.\n\nOverall, I enjoyed my stay due to location and cleanliness, but I hope the hotel takes this feedback to improve communication for future guests. I would still return to this property if my primary preference for Hilton hotels in the city is sold out and would still consider this a pleasant stay. Thank you!"
