"Our family of 4 just got home from a week long vacation staying here for 6 nights. We had a room with two queen sized beds. The square footage of the room was tight but I expect that in most NYC hotel rooms. Maid services are offered every other day and they did a wonderful job. My only complaint was the elevators. There are 3 elevators for around 30 floors. One elevator was out of service the whole time, so only 2 elevators were working. It seemed the maids and hotel staff were often using one and wait times were very bad. Coming and going once and sometimes twice a day meant up to 4 elevator rides per day and if we we were lucky on one of the rides it would come within 5 minutes. We waited upwards of 15-25 minutes sometimes and a huge crowd would amass and we would not all fit on the elevator and had to wait additionally 10-15 minutes more for another. Sometimes we opted to walk down all the flights of stairs rather than wait 20 plus minutes for an elevator. Rooms were quiet and beds were comfortable. All in all not a bad stay but more elevators are needed for this size of hotel. Leaving we were offered the hotel car and driver to take us to our airport for a specified fee. It was way better than a cab ride and made our day. Cost less than a cab as well."

"TLDR; Would not stay here again until elevator issue is fixed. Plenty of other options in this price range.\n\n—————\n\nRooms were fine. Service was meh - they couldn’t find the porter to help with bags we needed to store until check-in. The desk agent seemed exasperated, as it was a good 15-20 minutes - did not appear to be a new issue. Fine, people take breaks, that was manageable. The real issue though- the elevator situation was a mess. We spent 40 minutes waiting for an elevator down from our 29th floor, finally gave up and took the stairs. Next wait was almost 30 minutes. Like with many, visiting on vacation and our schedule and planned events were thrown off because of this. Our party decided to wait in the lobby while one of us navigated the elevators to get out bags for check out, but all the chairs and tables were removed because they were needed for the breakfast section… so there was nowhere to sit and wait. Was offered 250 Hilton points for our inconvenience. Considering what we paid for the rooms, the disruption to scheduled plans, would not stay here until the elevator situation is resolved. From the reviews, they have been saying for months that they’re looking into getting them fixed with no real resolution."

"Loved the staff!! I spent my 21st birthday here, and they wished me a happy birthday as well as asked me about my birthday after! There was one wonder that asked us about our day everyday, he was honestly the best! Shoutout to the staff that worked on June 21, y’all deserve recognition! The elevators were slow, but whatever it’s New York! The sliding bathroom doors were a little off putting, felt a little less private that I would like. This hotel is in a fantastic spot though, Central Park and Times Square were both relatively close! Would definitely recommend this hotel again!"
