"I’ve stayed in nyc many times and this has to be the best place I’ve stayed at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly, the rooms for New York are a very decent size, and the little kitchenette is very nice to have. I’m spending a lot of time in my room (due to the heat and I’m mainly here to see shows) and I’m super comfortable. Big desk. Shower is big with plentiful hot water. I’m on a high floor and it’s very quiet. The hot breakfast was just okay but the rest of the breakfast stuff was plentiful. I’ll buy my own eggs for the rest of the trip.\n\nI would definitely seek out this hotel again! I might have gotten lucky on the price."

"Hotel Review – Stay from July 25–27, 2025\n\nThis was my second time staying at this hotel. I was checked in by a very professional front desk agent (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name), who provided all the necessary information clearly and courteously.\nThe location is a highlight — just steps from Times Square, Madison Square Garden, and right next to Port Authority. It’s surrounded by many restaurants and easy access to public transportation. While the area does have a noticeable presence of homeless individuals, they appeared harmless during my visit. As with any major city, I recommend using common sense, especially if you're out late at night.\nThe rooms are equipped with a mini kitchenette, which is a big plus. It includes a full-size fridge, sink, two-burner stove, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. They also provide silverware, dishes, mugs, pots, dish detergent, and a sponge — very convenient for longer stays.\nThat said, there are quite a few areas that need improvement. The room I stayed in (Room 304) wasn’t fully functional. There was what appeared to be an empty drawer on top of the desk, but I couldn’t determine it’s purpose. The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The in-room phone had no cord — it seemed more decorative than operational.\nThe bathroom design was also questionable. There were no proper shelves in the shower to place toiletries, so I had to balance my soap on the safety bar. I initially thought there was no towel rack, but later found it oddly placed behind the bathroom door — out of sight and far from the shower, where it would have been more useful. The room didn’t include laundry bags, and the only toiletries provided were a hand soap and a single makeup remover pad — thankfully, I brought my own toiletries.\nWhoever installed the kitchen drawers didn’t consider functionality: opening them fully is blocked by the dishwasher door, making it hard to access utensils unless you reach deep inside.\nThe lobby was constantly busy, and only two elevators were operational. Thankfully, I was on the 3rd floor and could take the stairs. During my stay, the mobile key system was also down.\nDespite the flaws, I have to say the bed, comforter, and pillows were very comfortable. Even with some noise from what seemed to be a housekeeping closet nearby, I still managed a good night’s sleep — probably due to how tired I was.\nIn conclusion, while the hotel has many conveniences and a prime location, there are operational and maintenance issues that need to be addressed. I’m willing to give them another chance in the future to see if they’ve improved."

"This hotel is just a couple of minutes’ walk from Times Square, making it extremely convenient for subways and public transportation. There are plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and attractions within walking distance. They also have a parking area right in front of the hotel, only for loading and unloading baggage from your vehicle — a small but thoughtful convenience in a busy area.\n\nThe room and beds were well-prepared, and we appreciated having a kitchenette. The pantry included bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a good variety, and on some evenings, the hotel offered complimentary wine, beer, and snacks — a nice bonus.\n\nI noticed some reviews mentioning the rooms are small, but I wouldn’t agree — especially considering the location. In a city like New York, where even homes are compact, the room felt spacious enough to comfortably store luggage and move around. I’d say it’s a decent size for a couple.\n\nThe room appeared clean when we arrived, but the wooden floors were quite dirty. With limited housekeeping, the floor felt sticky the next day, which made it uncomfortable — especially right after showering.\n\nWhen we booked, we were informed that one elevator was out of service, so we requested a lower floor. The lowest available was the 9th. At check-in, two of three elevators were working, but by the next morning, only one was operational. While going down wasn’t too bad, climbing up the steep stairs was difficult — and checking out with luggage was even more frustrating. I was stranded in the hallway for about 15 minutes waiting for the elevator.\n\nThat said, if they improve floor cleanliness for each guest and fix the elevator issue, I’d definitely come here again."
