"Currently Staying here and so disappointed. Although the staff has been friendly, our room was not super clean, the shower door doesn’t shut, the shelf in the shower is broken. We were excited to have a kitchen but we have no coffee maker. I been trying to get one for two days. But the worst part is the huge crater in the mattress. It missing a huge chuck out of it! It’s sad because this place seemed so nice from the pictures and reviews but that is NOT our room."

"We had a great five-night stay on a couple of occasions now. The double-pane windows kept street noise to a minimum, though being an old tenement building, there was some sound from upstairs—not from neighboring rooms, though, which was a relief. The check-in process was seamless, following a contactless setup similar to an Airbnb.\n\nThe location is fantastic—just a quick trip to NYU, with a Wegmans supermarket at Astor Place and excellent MTA bus routes (M8, M15, SBS M14) that provide easy access to Midtown, Wall Street, and Chelsea. The subway is also convenient, with the L train just a few blocks north and the 6 train a few blocks west. OMNY payment scanners make hopping on public transit effortless with a simple tap of a credit card.\n\nThere’s no shortage of great coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend Mud Cafe, just a few doors west of the hotel. Tompkins Square Park is also perfect for a morning stroll.\n\nThe East Village is a wonderful neighborhood."
