Courtyard by Marriott New York World Trade Center Area

"We had an amazing stay at the Courtyard Marriott World Trade Center Area! The location couldn’t be better. It’s walking distance to some of the best food in town, just blocks away from Battery Park (where you catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty), and only minutes from the 9/11 Memorial.\n\nFor drivers, the location is also a win. Our drivers had no trouble picking us up right at the entrance. It’s one of the easiest access points we’ve experienced in Manhattan. Plus being right next to a subway entrance makes getting around the city incredibly convenient, if that is your thing.\n\nThe staff is beyond friendly!!! From check-in to housekeeping, everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The maid service was flawless, and the rooms were spotless every day.\n\nWe were traveling as a family and were placed in a room with a hide-a-bed couch, which was perfect for our family of four. If you're traveling with children, be sure to mention it — they’ll do their best to accommodate you!\n\nOne note of transparency: the double beds are listed as Queens, but they’re actually closer to full-size. If you and your partner like a little more room to stretch out, just be prepared to snuggle up. 😉\n\nAll in all, I have nothing but praise for this hotel. We felt safe, welcomed, and right in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do in NYC. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"The beds in this hotel are the reason I gave this hotel higher stars overall. I don't know why, but the bed was one of the most comfy I've ever slept on. The pillows like joyous little clouds or something. Ugh this bed was literally so awesome and my mom said the same of hers.\n\nThe rest of the room was standard, very clean, nice bathroom with basic amenities provided.\n\nThe lobby is average with a tiny bar area and snacks for sale. The worst part of this hotel is the elevators. There are 2 elevators for 25 floors and you often have to wait ten minutes for the lift to arrive. And then will likely need to stop several times on the way down. It's not a big inconvenience just add extra time for the elevators if you've called an uber.\n\nLocation is nice super close to WTC and 9/11 memorial. Subway stop directly out front."

"Stayed a couple nights for a quick impromptu trip. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, AC worked great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were placed in the wrong room at first but they were able to move us no problem and were sorry for the confusion. You can catch the 1 train right outside the hotel building which was a huge plus. You can also catch the R&W trains one block further, the 4&5 trains two blocks further and and the J&Z trains three blocks further. Overall, transportation options within proximity to the hotel are endless.\n\nOur only problem with the hotel was that it would sometimes take a good bit of time to get an elevator. Understandable however being that there are 26 floors in the hotel but just don't be surprised if it takes a couple minutes to get a elevator to your floor. Also, there was no dresser/drawers to store clothes so we did live out of our suitcase a little. They did have a closet to store coats and pants but that was about it. Don't know if it's like that for every room but it was for the one we stayed in.\n\nOther than that, great place to stay"
