"These rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The area was walkable and very safe. It was conveniently located within a walkable distance to the Waterfront or to multiple dining options and Wall Street. We will definitely stay here again"

"Staff members and management here at this location were unprofessional, disheartening, and non-empathetic. I have bronchitis and asthma and didn’t have anymore medicine in my inhaler. My reservations for this location was July 27-29, 2025 upon entering the hotel room myself and partner, noticed that the AC unit was out in the room. We immediately went back downstairs to the lobby and spoke with staff and let stay staff know that I can’t stay in that room due heath conditions. Staff replied he couldn’t do anything that’s a management issue. The next following day I spoke with management and she replied all she could do is offer me a 20-50% off my stay I asked if she could she put us into a new room she ignored my question and said once again I can give you 20-50% off your stay. Management didn’t try to offer us a new room and or find a better solution she disregarded my health and feelings. Later on that evening my partner had checked me into a health clinic to be treated for complications with breathing due to the AC being out and room being so dry and stuffy. Staff and management was aware and knew that room on the 6th floor in the corner room 601 AC unit was out because they mentioned before assigned us the room and upon entering the room all the windows were up because the AC was out"

"Absolutely Disgusting and Disappointing Stay – Courtyard Marriott Downtown Manhattan\n\nThis was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Marriott property.\n\nFrom the moment we arrived, there was hair in the bed—clearly indicating the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. Throughout the stay, we kept having to ask for fresh towels even after the room had supposedly been cleaned. But the most disturbing part came on the last day: after being out of the room all day, we returned to find blood in the sheets. Completely unacceptable and disgusting.\n\nWhen we brought this to the attention of the night auditor and asked to change rooms, we were told no—with no real explanation or attempt to make things right. For a brand that’s supposed to represent hospitality and quality, this experience was shockingly below standard.\n\nI expected better from Marriott, and I won’t be staying at this location again. Do better"
