"I stayed at this hotel during my last trip with my mom to New york in February. The location, the staff, and even the condition of the room itself was truly amazing. The hotel is close to the subway, and even walking distances to the most of the major stuff. We had stayed here for two weeks, and every time we met Keith, he was just such a kind person and trying to help us with the biggest smile! "Absolutely terrible experience: beware of their cancellation policy!\n\nWe prepaid 100% of our stay through the American Express travel service. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel. Not only did the hotel keep the entire amount we paid in advance, but they also charged an additional 70% on top, so we ended up paying almost double the price without ever staying there.\n\nAmerican Express contacted the hotel on our behalf, but the hotel didn’t respond at all. This is unacceptable customer service and feels like an outright rip-off. We will never book here again."
