"Our rooms were very basic. Two double beds, desk/chair, with TV. But everything was lovely. We were exploring NYC most of the time but when we came back, it felt like "home" everything was clean and comfortable. Toilet/washroom was basic too, but very clean. Staff were very friendly as well. Location was fantastic too. I really thought it would be noisy but we barely heard anything. Only downside is the never ending scaffolding, but it's everywhere in the city."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Ameritania Hotel! The hotel was incredibly clean, charming, and full of character, making it feel both stylish and welcoming. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location couldn’t have been more perfect — right in the heart of everything, with easy access to Broadway, Times Square, and nearby subway stations. It was the ideal home base for our NYC trip. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"I really want to give this place 5 stars but we had major issues with our room the moment we checked in (around midnight). The entire room lost power several times throughout the night and morning. We called the front desk a couple of times but it seemed like no one cared and the guy they were suppose to send up to check, never came. We were FINALLY moved to a new room in the morning and it was great but better training at the front desk is needed to manage customer issues like this. The day shift seemed to be much more accommodating, understanding, friendly (with the exception of one gentleman who talked more than he listened) and helpful.\n\nWould I stay here again? YES! Absolutely. Rooms were clean and spacious (for NYC standards and given their location). The location is great. The manager on duty during the day was super understanding and did a lot to make things right."
