"Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location, close to many tourist attractions. The room was a decent size and cleaned daily, loved the shower and robes/slippers provided. Breakfast in the pub was wonderful and delicious. Staff were very kind and helpful."

"It was not our intention to stay at this hotel, but we had booked another hotel and it was awful and dirty.\nSo we scrambled to find another hotel within our budget and accessible by public transport and stumbled across this place.\n\nFirst impression was worrying, the third party site we booked through mentioned accessibility to room floors via a lift. The lift was unfortunately broken, but we were reassured that an engineer was en route to repair the lift.\nOur room was on the fourth floor, which was a tough descent with a disability. However, the receptionist was lovely, there was seating in Reception and the stairs were wide, clearly marked and had bilateral bannisters to aide the ascent. And we were given a rough time frame for the elevator repair and therefore could have waited for this.\n\nThe first impression of the room was that it was immaculate and well presented. It had good amenities such as a fridge with complimentary milk and water, a kettle with complimentary tea, biscuits and hot chocolate and a coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods.\n\nThe bathroom was well stocked with towels, shampoo, body wash and soap. The bathroom was clean enough to eat off of. Every surface shone and you can tell that the bathroom is deep cleaned, not just maintained between guests.\n\nThe room itself is compact, but cosy. A double bed, soft mattress, a TV placed somewhat awkwardly, but we were only there one night and did not need to watch TV. A vanity area over the fridge and a desk area at the hot drinks station.\nThe room made use of every bit of space, creating a seamless design without feeling boxed in.\n\nThe bed was pushed against the wall with the TV to the right hand side of it. This meant you could only access the bed from one side and this can be difficult with a disability as either you or your bed partner have to disturb the other in the middle of the night. However, this minor inconvenience did not impact the stay, but it's worthwhile to ensure you know what your room will look like, before committing: luckily, the pictures on their website are very detailed and a great representation of the space.\n\nWe went out for the evening and returned to find the elevator repaired, as promised. And the room a wonderfully cool temperature: after traversing London in a heat wave, it was an actual Nirvana.\n\nThe water pressure in the shower was excellent. There is a step up into the shower and the door opens in 2 in the corner. There isn't room to accommodate any other type of set up. The shower doors and shower pole are very sturdy, making it easy to steady yourself stepping in and out if mobility is an issue.\n\nThe room has very ambient lighting, a cute lamp tucked in a bookshelf with a warm glow for the evening.\n\nA surprising touch, but the room had a bin with recycling and general waste sections. I've never seen that in a hotel room before. To be environmentally conscious wherever possible is very important!\n\nThe location is fantastic. A flat and straight walk, one minute from St James' Park Station. So easy to find and such a beautiful building inside and out.\n\nWhile it was at the top of our Budget for a one night stay in London, we paid £250, but we got absolute luxury and would stay here again beyond a shadow of doubt.\n\nBreakfast is included with the price we paid."

"Possibly one of our favourite hotels we have ever stayed in and for the price it was even more pleasantly surprising. The staff were friendly, and helpful. The say was amazing, on the steps of Westminster, and situated in relative walking distance to everything. For being at the centre of London it was a quiet stay. This is a true hidden gem of a hotel."
