"Lovely hotel, the room I stayed in could have used a little TLC in the bathroom but it was still functional and very clean.\n\nWell presented room, whilst a little small (which didn't both me, as a solo traveller) they had clearly put some thought into how to make the most of the space, and it paid off.\n\nTheir garden is lovely, a little slice of serenity in the middle of a busy suburb.\n\nThe service was great, really friendly and welcoming - made you feel like you'd known them for years.\n\nBreakfast was good, cooked to order (I didn't want much of a fry up, so don't judge them by my plate!!).\n\nOverall, a pleasant trip and I wouldn't have a problem staying here again if I needed accommodation up this neck of the woods!"

"More like a house than a hotel, tastefully decorated and friendly staff. The bathroom was lovely with a free standing bath, however the walls were built with MDF which was swelling in places due to moisture which was a shame as it was really nice.\nAll in all a good stay."

"We got married at Packfords in May 2021. We had delayed by 14 months due to Covid-19. Sara, their Hospitality Manager, was amazing in liaising with us and organising everything for our small family event. We had such a fabulous time there from the ceremony in the Hardy Room, drinks/nibbles in the bar/conservatory and, lucky for us with the weather, their beautiful garden which our son had a fabulous time exploring and joining any photo he felt like! It really is a super venue and one we would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you so much for everything you did for us on our special day. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as did our guests."
