"The hotel is nice, and good for the price.\nClose to the ICC Excel and is within 10mins walking distance.\nI spent just one night, so I may not have seen everything.\nThe breakfast buffet seems to be elaborate, more than what I have experienced so far. You could even make your own waffles 😁\nThere is parking on site, although you can only pay for 24hrs and only for as long as you're a guest there; which meant I had to come move my car when the 24hrs expired the next day. This was while I was still attending the event I came for, and couldn't extend my car parking booking unless I was still a guest at the hotel.\nI paid £15 for the 24hrs which isn't a problem considering the alternatives around, but I was surprised to see that parking wasn't included as a free benefit for booking into the hotel"

"We had a deeply upsetting experience at Hampton by Hilton Docklands. Despite booking an accessible room and clearly communicating that we were traveling with a child with disabilities, we were placed in a standard room that was completely unsuitable. For three nights, we were forced to shower our daughter — a young girl with disabilities — on the floor. It was not only physically difficult but incredibly degrading and distressing for her and our family.\n\nWhen we raised our concerns, some of the reception staff were polite and helpful. However, one manager, Serevina, was particularly rude and dismissive, showing no empathy or urgency in resolving the situation. She even commented that when she saw us arrive she “knew the room wasn’t appropriate”. It wasn’t until day 4 that another manager, Ina, stepped in and arranged for us to be moved into the accessible room we should have had from the start. It shouldn’t have taken four days to correct such a critical issue. We were grateful for Ina’s support as she remembered us from a past stay and ensured to check in with us daily. Without her we would have had to end our holiday early.\n\nThis experience completely overshadowed our stay. Families with disabled children deserve to be treated with dignity and have their needs respected from the moment they check in. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far short of that. We cannot recommend it, and we sincerely hope they make serious improvements to staff training and accessibility awareness."

"We had a night here for a weekend break. Family of 3. Small yet tidy room. The room isn't like "wow", but for the price it's decent and it did the job. Provided a good place to rest at the end of the day. Quiet too.\nTurned up late. Pleasant greeting. Happy to give our child a glass of milk, which made us feel really welcome.\nEasy access to transport. We got a replacement service to the close by DLR Station.\nSunday morning we had a great feast at the breakfast bar. Fueled up well to start the day."
