"Review Title: Very disappointing service and lack of understanding for medical concerns\n\nI had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Due to asthma symptoms and panic attacks triggered by the location of our room (which directly overlooked nearby residential buildings), I politely requested a room change. I was told in the evening that this would be arranged the next morning.\n\nHowever, when I returned, that promise was completely ignored. The only “solution” offered was a basement room, which would have made my condition even worse. The manager showed no willingness to find an alternative or to take my medical needs seriously. I felt completely dismissed as a guest.\n\nThis was not about luxury or personal preference—it was about real health issues. The attitude of both the staff and management came across as indifferent and unhelpful. At the very least, I expected empathy and a constructive approach.\n\nI would not recommend this hotel to anyone with medical needs or anyone who values basic customer care. The service added more stress than comfort to my stay."

"Very central location, next to Paddington station and tube, overlooking a nice small park from our little balcony. 10' walk from Hyde Park. Very helpful receptionists. Very clean and tidy room. Breakfast had all what we really needed. Was relieved to see two new pairs of hotel slippers were supplied along with towels as we had forgotten ours. Free on street parking and easy to find a spot opposite the hotel. There was a dedicated scooter and e-bike right there and we regretted it looking for one at Hyde Park. Cannot wait to visit again."
