"Eddy at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind—his excellent service truly made our stay more enjoyable.\n\nThe rooms are small but offer good value for the price. However, the common areas, especially the corridors and elevators, could use significant improvements. Peeling paint, visible mold, and worn-out carpets detract from the overall impression.\n\nDue to the building’s layout, be prepared for lots of stairs, which can be inconvenient if you’re traveling with heavy luggage.\n\nOn a positive note, the restaurant is outstanding. The food is excellent, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming."

"Firstly, we were upgraded to the Eden Suite free of charge for no reason, which was real nice.\nAfter getting lost in the scrambled maze of hallways, we stepped into our room in sweltering Summer weather only to find the room itself had exceeded its own ambitions and was doing its best spa & sauna impression.\n\nAfter almost dying from oven temperatures we found the AC, and the room kept a beautiful chill.\n\nRoom was nice enough. Spacious, nice chair, so-so sofa. The windows overlooked a courtyard area that had a beautiful old building in it, so not a terrible view.\nOur balcony stepped out into an industrial fan system. The wifi didn't reach us or our TV, and we were kept awake at night by a mysterious rumbling sound which turned out to be a tiny refrigerator. These are both serious marks down.\n\nDrinking water access needs work - reception were happy to give us water, but it does involve a journey through the maze to acquire. Otherwise there is a note asking us not to drink bathroom water.\n\nHeated towel rail was always on at full blast which seemed unnecessary in the summer. It caused us a couple burny surprises.\n\nSmells from the restaurant drifted up to the hallway outside our door. I loved it, but not everyone will. Luckily the smell didn't penetrate the door.\n\nThe free shower soaps were exceptionally pleasant.\n\nStaff were incredibly friendly, and I think someone among them is a fan of Doraemon, so extra points for that.\n\nThe location can't be beat.\nWe were stuck here alone after a cancelled event, and made the best of it - within walking distance is a great selection of restaurants, shops, and locations to gawk at."

"Really bad place if you have heavy luggage/bags. All stairs and tight corridors. I had to go upstairs to get a lift downstairs to the basement. The place is like a maze. Also they want a £50 refundable deposit in case of breakages. Seriously apart from a dated tv attached to the wall there is nothing there worth anywhere near that. They recommend not drinking water from the taps but yet they don't put bottles of water in your room. This is not a place that's welcoming or convenient except the location is close to the London underground."
