"Stayed here with my son for a midweek mini break. The location and price were ideal for what we needed.\n\nThe twin room was small but really well appointed and set up to be extremely usable. The bathroom and bedroom both had good storage spaces to hang and place items, and we weren't tripping over our stuff at all despite it being small. The beds were very comfy, if a little short - I'm only 5'6 and my feet reached the very end to slightly overhang when I was lying down, so definitely not for anyone tall.\n\nI worried the road noise would keep us awake but it was totally fine with the inner and outer windows both closed. The ceiling fan kept us perfectly cool all night and I think the white noise of the fan drowned out any very loud traffic eg sirens from nearby UCL hospital.\n\nBreakfast was INCREDIBLE with tonnes of choice including smoked salmon, cold meats, bread and pastries plus all the usual continental and cooked options. Coffee was too hot and very burnt, but that is the only thing I could fault.\n\nReception was friendly and helpful - ignore the comment from the person who complained about this.\n\nOverall a really great stay - it's not top luxury but who can afford that in London? And, the room is small but has everything you need.\n\nWe will return!"

"Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations and left us very disappointed.\nTo begin with, my friend suffered a bad bug bite during the stay, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness in the room. This is not only unpleasant but also a potential health risk.\nIn addition, the tea and coffee tray was dusty and clearly had not been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. This lack of attention to basic cleanliness standards is unacceptable.\nThe room itself was extremely warm and uncomfortable. Although there was a small fan and a ceiling fan, both were very slow and ineffective. It was difficult to rest or sleep in such conditions."

"Poor customer service. I had booked a room roughly 3 weeks in advance. Unfortunately my flight to London got diverted halfway through due to a mechanical issue with the plane. We got rebooked on a flight for the next day.\n\nI sent multiple emails to the hotel notifying them of the situation and asked if we could move our booking by a day (The website suggested there was availability). I didn’t receive a response until after the original booking day was over saying that since they didn’t receive any notice, they wouldn’t refund the room. When I followed up with screenshots of the emails I had sent giving notice, they then said that it was against their policy to provide a refund.\n\nThis was extremely unprofessional. I was trying to work with them to find a solution to a travel mishap that was out of my control and then was misled/lied to. There are plenty of other hotels on this street that would provide a better experience."
