"Beautiful, Historic Stay in the Heart of Old Town Istanbul\n\nWe had a 24-hour layover in Istanbul and chose to stay right in the heart of old town so we could maximize our time exploring. Hagia Sofia Mansions turned out to be the perfect choice for me and my teenage daughter — it was our first stop on a mother-daughter trip and absolutely had that “WOW” factor.\n\nOur room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and filled with character. The view from our windows was incredible — we could see the Hagia Sophia right from our room. The location couldn’t be better, with the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace just steps away, and the Grand Bazaar about a 15–20 minute walk.\n\nThe property is unique, made up of 17 historic mansions spread throughout the area. Because of this, stairs are common and elevators may not be available, but the charm more than makes up for it. The hotel offers golf cart transportation between buildings, which is incredibly convenient.\n\nThe staff were warm, polite, and helpful. There are two front desk locations, and the hotel arranged our airport transfers, which made arrival and departure seamless. The cost was €150 each way, but we were offered a discounted rate of €120 if paying in cash.\n\nA minor point, we loved the cats all over old town. A couple of friendly cats were being well cared for by the hotel staff and were free to roam around the reception area while we were there.\n\nIf you want to be surrounded by history, beauty, and world-class hospitality, Hagia Sofia Mansions is an unforgettable place to stay."

"Amazing 5 star experience. We stayed at Mansions Hagia Sophia for three amazing days. First, it is a spectacular location. Steps from the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque in the heart of the old city. The rooms were basically a three story home, with good sized rooms and a bathroom that was like a spa. The Traditional Turkish breakfast was a treat. But the highlight was the service. From the golf cart that met us to get our bags the outstanding welcome to the ceremonial goodbye, it felt like we were royalty. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience."

"Absolutely excellent hotel. Right in the heart of the action. Extremely nice rooms, lovely breakfast and helpful staff. You be ferried around in a golf buggy if you can’t take the hills! The terrace for breakfast is very peaceful. One tiny drawback is that as it’s located right behind the Hagia Sofia, the call to prayer is VERY LOUD. 4.30am every morning. I enjoyed it, but others may find it disturbed their sleep. Highly recommended hotel for a great break in Istanbul."
