"We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Sultanahmet. It offers great value for money — the rooms are beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and well-equipped. We stayed in a quadruple room consisting of two separate rooms: one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Each room had a closet, a small table, and a chair.\nThe bathroom was modern, with a spacious shower and complimentary toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner). Towels were soft, spotless, and plentiful — and thankfully, they didn’t have that unpleasant vinegar smell common in many hotels.\nAlthough the breakfast initially seemed modest, it turned out to be a delightful surprise. Everything was homemade, fresh, and delicious, with great attention to presentation. Angela, who served us drinks and coffee, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.\nWe truly felt welcomed and cared for, and would definitely choose this hotel again!"

"I stayed in the Ayasofya Hotel for 4 days, and my reservation included breakfast.\n\nThe location of the hotel is excellent. It is located in a small, quiet old area but is central - this makes the hotel feel safe and peaceful while remaining close to various shops, major attractions in Fatih, and public transit. Within 15-20 minutes of walking at most, you can reach almost all of the museums, bridges, and attractions in Fatih. Tram and bus stations are even closer.\n\nThe second thing earning this hotel a high rating is the staff. I would like to thank the women working in the rooftop kitchen, as well as the reception staff: Alex, Murat, Ali, and Verdi. The staff here is helpful, kind, personable, and willing to work through any possible issues that may arise. Laundry service is available through the hotel and tea is served at reception.\n\nAs for the rooms, they tend to be on the smaller side but are cleaned regularly. For what you pay, you get decent value. The rooms have air conditioning and natural lighting. Recycling bins are available in the hallways. If you have trouble climbing lots of stairs, ask for a room on the ground or on the first floor.\n\nIf I were visiting Istanbul again, I would want to stay here for a second time."

"Had a really great stay at the Ayasofya Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the reception was super welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Harald – he is amazing! He helped us a lot during our stay, gave us great suggestions on where to go and what to see, and really made everything easier for us.\n\nThe rooms were beautiful and had a royal feel – clean, spacious, and really comfortable. The reception area looked modern and stylish, which gave a great first impression.\n\nthe service is excellent and we felt very well looked after. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting!"
