"If you read the reviews, you might be slightly confused by the mix of very positive and very negative reviews. I would say your experience would be based on your expectation. If you are someone who prefers a *thoroughly* clean hotel in a top location, this will not be the hotel for you. Our room was clean *enough* for us to stay but it was definitely not hotel-level clean. There was dust in corners, on the phone, on the kettle etc etc. The table in the room was not wiped well and the chairs and bedsheets have stain. But it had general level of cleanliness which made it okay to stay. But if you are more picky then this might bother you more. The room was also not well soundproofed so I can hear drunk tourists returning to the room at 4 am and cars outside as well. The hotel TV is very old, they said it is a smart TV but it was not great. BTW: if you want netflix access, you to have to pay almost 1000baht per night. I don’t know if this was advertised but I came with the belief that I could use netflix as they specified that the rooms are equipped with a smart TV only to find out this is a add-on service. This is the first time in my travels where I learnt you had to pay for netflix. So if you’re interested in chilling in your room and watching TV, be prepared to fork up more money. The hotel staff were quite nice. The pool is smaller than you think and the gym is very bare.\n\nMany people talked about the good location but I would disagree for me personally as all the places we wanted to see were typically 15-30 mins by bike.\n\nThe hotel is also placed along an alley with not much happening and it gets quite dark at night so if you’re a solo woman, maybe that is something to consider.\n\nOverall, it was very affordable. I recommend this if you want something cheap and basic and also don’t mind travelling to the big malls/common locations."

"The rooms were neat and tidy, excellent service. But what made the place exceptional for me was the staff. The reception staff I called Charlie's Angel's, because they met all my needs with a smile. Not one day did I leave or arrive without a smile and greeting. Second the Nomad Bar rooftop bar, with Creme and Pupae went above and beyond to make my meal worthwhile. After, the cocktails were immaculate, quickly made, and expertly served. These 2 girls knew exactly what they were doing.\n\nThe ONLY downside was actually a a small family (hotel customers), who were rude to the staff, because she kindly explained to them that the pool was closed and they did not take no for an answer. I felt bad for the staff because they were put in an impossible situation. No person should speak to the other in that manner especially when the staff go out of their way to please us. The staff were polite and courteous even after they were spoken to in that way. Professional in all ways.\n\nI highly recommend this place. The staff are the absolute best of Thailand hospitality!!"

"Very happy with our stay. Staff was super friendly. Room was very clean. Had no issues at all. Has a rooftop pool and bar that was usually empty but good prices during happy hour. We did not try the buffet breakfast. Would recommend. Very close to metro and BTS stations."
