De Lavender Bangkok Hotel

"Lets start by talking about the location.\n\nThis hotel is located in a small alley. Yes, you read that right. Its really tucked away in an alley, with no signage to help you find it. But the good news is, you wont have any trouble finding food if you stay here. The hotel is surrounded by lots of places to eat, including a food court (well, to be fair, finding food is never a problem anywhere in Thailand. Hahaha).\n\nSecondly, about the service i found it a bit strange that breakfast was delivered directly to the room. Luckily, i was already awake and getting ready to go out. I was surprised when someone knocked on my door at 8 in the morning, and it turned out they were bringing breakfast. Its a nice gesture, but a bit unusual. Hahaha.\n\nThird, about the room its quite small, and during the day it gets pretty hot, especially considering Bangkok’s daytime temperatures can reach up to 30 degrees Celsius. The bathroom is also small. The water has a slight odor, and the rack for placing shampoo and soap is a bit rusty.\n\nWhat stands out most about this hotel is the friendliness of the owner. I dont know their name, but they were definitely very kind and helpful to me."

"I booked this place on Internet. As subscribed the room was 22 square meters\nWhen I arrived it looked much smaller ... I don't walk around with a measuring instrument but the room was more something about 14 square meters maximum. Even the bathroom was so narrow that I couldn't sit on the toilet🤣.\nSo I went to the reception with my 'small' complaint and the only thing that they could say is that I got a suite as for my understanding I got nothing more than a shoebox 😅😅😅\nI booked for 3 nights but left after 1...\nOw yes. The bathroom or what has to be understood as a bathroom was filthy and the light switch that originally had been white was covered into I don't know what and almost completely black\nThis is my seventh time in Thailand, I have stayed in several remote and non touristy places but this place was the worst I have ever stayed"

"Definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends haha so comfy even the room is small but still comfy & cozy to sleep *for me hehe also SO CLEAN!! & the staff is so nice and friendly thats why i choose to come back haha btw my friend also recommend me this hotel so this is her 2nd time stay here. Fyi the room is no soundproof ya so don’t be too loud especially if you’re on call it could be heard from the hallway. For the location, is so strategic to foods & shopping centre not far from the hotel😍"
