"The room was decent for a 3-star hotel in Bangkok, though a bit old and had a persistent musty smell. Only body towels were provided, so I had to request face towels, which was difficult due to the reception staff's limited English. Since then, the reception staff have been noticeably unfriendly—rolling eyes, exchanging looks, and laughing in Thai after interactions. All I did was request basic things like face towels and parking validation… which is pretty standard for hotels. The parking did not have any roof, so the car just sits in the sun when parked. The bathroom also had a mouldy smell which did not go away even with air fresheners. I interacted with securities, janitors, and other workers in the hotel who were absolutely lovely. But the receptionists really did have an attitude. There is no need for them to roll their eyes at me because I expected them to do their jobs and break up their chatter. I’ve worked in customer service for years… and I fully acknowledge that it is a tough job. But when a customer is nice, polite and requests the bare minimum, you must do your job right and properly. Otherwise, you’re just showing the customer how incompetent you are. I hope they do better. And do renovate the rooms to look less like student dorms."

But the photos are identical. My room was very minimalist and everything was at least 10 years old, which you could see on the walls, the cupboard and the seating furniture. The building looks like a prefabricated building from socialism.\nNo hot water, cleaning was okay but not optimal, in comparison I could have had the same hotel room for 15 euros. The restaurant in the house is satisfactory."

We arrived three hours before check-in and were informed that early check-in was available for an additional 850 Baht, but unfortunately, no rooms were available at that time, so we had to wait. I didn’t report it, just to see if housekeeping would catch it, but it went unnoticed. That said, for the price we paid through Agoda, the hotel was a good deal compared to other options available in the area.\n\nLocation-wise, it's quite convenient—just 1 km away from a mall with plenty of shopping and general needs options. However, if you’re planning to stay more than three days, I’d recommend skipping the breakfast option, as the choices are quite limited: bread, ham, sausage, egg, and coffee or juice. While decent, it can get repetitive for longer stays.\n\nFor sightseeing, getting to major attractions like Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, or famous shopping malls costs around 200-300 Baht via Bolt, making it a reasonably well-connected place to stay."
