"We booked the hotel suite two months in advance, after repeated checks—both written and verbal—to confirm that the room was suitable for two adults and two children. These checks were conducted before booking and again two days prior to our arrival, just to make sure. In all these conversations, we were assured that the room could accommodate two children and two adults.\n\nWe paid a very high price for the suite—for comparison, for a similar price you can rent a suite with two double beds in a 5+ star hotel in central Bangkok. We chose this hotel solely because of its location, which suited our needs. Upon arrival, we discovered that the room had a double bed and only one additional single bed. It should be noted that the reception was aware that two children would be arriving, and the only thing they had prepared in advance was to charge an extra fee for an additional person in the room. Their solution for how the children could sleep was that one child could sleep on the floor with a blanket, or with us in the double bed.\n\nIn the end, we decided to stay so as not to waste the only day we had in Bangkok. After lengthy arguments, they agreed to waive the additional charge and refund 20% of the room price.\n\nI must highlight the kindness of the reception staff, which stood in stark contrast to the state of the hotel and its policies. The receptionists were extremely pleasant.\n\nThe hotel operates more like a youth hostel. First of all, there is no elevator—just a luggage lift. The hotel has five floors.\n\nAlthough we were in a non-smoking suite, the bed upholstery reeked unpleasantly of cigarettes, a smell that also clung to the furniture and carpet and was impossible to ignore. The room has an automatic air freshener, like those found in public restrooms, which did not help at all.\n\nThe attitude towards guests is also reminiscent of a hostel. We were two adults and two children, but received only one key card, which also activates the electricity, and were warned that if we lost it, we would have to pay 500 baht. In the room, there was a detailed list of the cost of every item in case of damage. Honestly, I have never seen such a list anywhere, not even in youth hostels. The towels were as thin as paper napkins.\n\nAt the end of our stay, the cleaning staff entered the room in our presence to conduct an inventory check, counting bottles, towels, and equipment. One staff member even told us a hand towel was missing (10x10 cm), which was eventually found inside a larger towel.\n\nIn summary—the real assets of the hotel are the friendly reception staff and the view from the window. This does not in any way justify the four-star rating, and certainly not a price comparable to hotels in Bangkok whose quality and value are ten times higher, just ten minutes away in an excellent central location. The price for this room should be that of a hostel on Khao San Road, not a hotel."

"Perfect for a short stay in Bangkok if you like to see some temples. This is walking distance to Wat Pho and the Kings Palace and Wat Phra Keo. Nothing happening outside of the hotel at night but the hotel has a great rooftop bar and restaurant with good food. The best view to Wat Arun and you see also the Kings Palace from there. So beautiful! We had a suite facing the river, what a sight! Nice balcony and enjoy War Arun. Staff is very friendly and helpful! No elevator, it is an older property. But they have a Babbage lift which works:) we will come back if we come to Bangkok again!"
