"Avoid this hotel at any cost. Absolutely dump and the service is very poor. The room is claustrophobic, dirty and can’t even close the shower screen. Not to mention it’s in very bad condition all the furniture and there’s strong unpleasant smell room the drainage. The smell was unbearable to stay for too long in the room. They have the arrogance to charge over €100 for that dump, when it’s worse than a hostel for €40. AVOID AT ANY. OST THAT DUMP"

"Positive: Good location. Everything within walking distance. Metro nearby. Aire acondicionado. Negative: It is an expensive hostel. Lots of noise, heard the guest next to us snoring. Guests in the hallway are clearly audible. Door does not close properly. Window opened for fresh air. Unfortunately you hear a lot of voices again. No cups or glasses. Couldn't be delivered either. No hooks to hang a towel, no shelf for toiletries No twin bed as booked. Pictures of rooms are misleading. Staff was nice (online) until payment was made. Then nothing was possible anymore."

"Stayed for 2 night Sept, 19&20. Great location off of Gran Via. Rooms are quaint but enough for what you need. we got a room with a balcony and it was plenty quiet for the location. We did not have a lot of problems with noise as stated in other comments but we are both relatively heavy sleepers. In Madrid, everything is a little loud if you stay where the action is. My only real issue was the door lock to our room was dead so I had to plug my battery pack into it to get it to function. However, a minor inconvenience for two 30 year old seasoned travelers to Europe. Overall good experience. Also I must mention the cleaning staff was super nice and friendly to us. I saw one comment who said they were rude, but they were laughing with us and we talked. So we would definitely recommend if you want to stay in the action of Madrid. Been here 18 times in 5 years. I'll be back to this hotel."
