"This hotel is a breath of fresh air! Fantastic location, awesome staff (Desmond and Victor are both awesome, super friendly, and very helpful), and cute rooms! Bathrooms are interesting, but considering the size they're working with, they're very functional. Great coffee shop in the reception! Would definitely stay here again, it's central to everything you need in Madrid! Love the communal space with free lollies and teas - great little space to escape the busy city."

"A super cute hotel located in the central, coffee was also super good! The highlight is the location literally just walking away from the popular places, super safe yet lively neighborhood, the staff was also super nice, Victor was a cheerful and helpful staff! The downside was the bathroom doesn’t have a lock, so make sure to travel with someone you’re comfortable with 😁 also there is no refrigerator in the room which makes it hard to store a snack or cold drink during the summer. But because of this experience, we want to look for Room Sol again in other cities ✨"

"First of all, if it weren’t for the extremely rude and impolite behavior of the female staff member (tall with glasses), I wouldn’t have bothered myself to write this review.\nSecondly, the issues with the hotel are as follows:\n1. The room not only lacks a proper window, but it’s also located underground, which makes it feel oppressive, dark, and very poorly ventilated.\n2. The mattress is of very poor quality—far too soft—and after some use, it has become uneven and saggy. Please refer to the attached photo. The most absurd part was when I complained to the female staff member but was responded, “Isn’t it normal for a mattress to become like this after some time? I can sleep on a bed like this without any problem.”\n3. The room was full of small sewer flies, which was disgusting, also see photo.\n4. The mirrors in the room were cracked or broken.\n5. There wasn’t even a bedside table to put things on.\n6. The room had virtually no soundproofing, and you are constantly disturbed by various noises at all hours.\n\nIn conclusion, unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in past 15 years in Europe. For this price, it might be acceptable if it were a hostel, but for a three-star hotel, the value for money is extremely poor."
