"The check-in process is difficult and the fact that there are no keys to het in the room its ridiculous. If you run out of battery, there is no way to get into the room.\n\nBefore we arrived, I contacted them to get the code/link to get into the hotel/room as it was 2 hours overdue. I was then told that the reason was that I had checked out of the room that morning myself and because of that, I had to pay 30 euros to reset the link.\n\nUpon me explaining several times that this might have been a mistake as I hadn't done anything, the person was constantly blaming me and pushing for me to pay the 30 extra euros through the link they "had sent me to me email".\n\nWhen I finally decided to give in and pay as I didn't want to sleep in the streets, I advised them that the link never arrived in my email. They then asked for my email address again and realised that I was the incoming guess, not the one that was staying in there for 2 nights already and was due to leave that day (hence they've checked out through the link). This assistant had my name and reservation link since the first message of the conversation.\n\nFinally, and after realising this was their mistake, my link was reset magically and without having to pay the extra 30 euros. However, no apologies or acknowledgement of the blaming and their mistake.\n\nAll of this was very stressful as I was on the way to a different country, and I didn't know whether I was gonna be able to get in the room I paid 3 months before.\n\nSeems fishy as I don't know whether someone with no Spanish would be able to explain all of this, and they probably pay to get the link due to being under a lot of stress.\n\nHave they done this before, and is a recurrent practice to get an extra 30 euros from foreigners? I don't know, but I definitely won't be coming back."

"Our room was not made up prior to our arrival from Toronto, Canada, on 10 April 2025. We were required to register a complaint via internet, which we did. We did not receive any response, until finally my husband heard someone working downstairs. Elizabeth made up the room as we waited, sitting on the floor in the hallway, jetlagged. We finally were able to access our room at 4:30 pm, one and a half hours after check in time. This is unacceptable."

"The place is convenient but its fully no human interaction and the idea of using email and mobile phone for check in is really not good, there was someone who forgot his mobile at 4:00 AM and tried to crush the door and was very noisy and not comfy .. but the location is very nice and its near by metro pinar del ray"
