NH Sants Barcelona

"A hotel that looks quite nice and modern, but in the end leaves a bad impression and that's because of the rooms. First of all, the bed is too hard in my opinion, and the sheets are completely fuzzy, after several nights there, it was still not clear to me how to cover yourself, because the blanket is made of 3 parts. In the bathroom, you can also see that a little investment is missing. Some rooms like ours had one window that looks into the inner courtyard and during the whole day you have the impression that it is dark or cloudy outside. The location of the hotel is not bad, although it is far from major sights except Camp Nou, because it is close to one of the most important stations in the city with the metro, trains, connection to the airport, etc. I have no complaints about the staff, they are friendly and professional."

"This establishment is at best a three star resort, and even that feels generous. I would never stay here again. While the staff were polite, the overall cleanliness of the facility was appalling. Despite requesting housekeeping on two separate occasions, the only action taken was to hastily make the bed. The sheets were visibly dirty and remained unchanged, the bins were left overflowing, and the floors clearly had not been swept.\n\nThe curtains in the room were stained with what I can only hope was dirt. Frankly, I dread to imagine what it actually was. It was utterly revolting. One would expect even the most basic standards of hygiene to be maintained, but clearly that expectation is not met here.\n\nThe entrance to the hotel was marked by nothing more than a flimsy paper sign, which served as a fitting preview of the low standards inside. During the night, loud and unexplained banging could be heard from multiple floors, making sleep nearly impossible.\n\nPerhaps most shocking of all was the breakfast, which can only be described as a complete disgrace. The so called hot food options consisted of chopped carrots and green beans, sausages, and rubbery scrambled eggs. It was a baffling and thoroughly unappetizing selection. Without question, it was the worst breakfast I have ever had at any hotel.\n\nI strongly urge others to avoid this place entirely. I"

"This hotel is quite underwhelming from the front but it hides a lot of magnificent features once through the doors. Reception is not the easiest to find due to work being done on the main door. The staff were more than helpful with information about Barcelona and what to see.\nThe room was extremely comfortable and very clean with a fantastic bathroom.\nWe had an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay here and would recommend to anyone who is travelling to Barcelona."
