"What a fab little hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Staff were accommodating and friendly (considering most in Barca are not). We had a room overlooking the market to the rear with a terrace and got lucky with the weather this last weekend so did get to use it. They could actually make more of the terrace area with a lounger and plants as a simple table and 2 chairs isn't quite enough. Surprisingly quiet and loved how dark the rooms were in the morning - proper black out!\nPlease add a mirror to the rooms - full length ideally, but at least a wall mirror in the main room so that you can get ready if someone is in the bathroom."

"Superb hotel in a lovely building overlooking Boqueria market and on the doorstep of the Liceu (opera house) metro stop. This is the "Times Square" of Barcelona, so if you're crowd-weary maybe not the most relaxing spot, but if you get a balcony room (which we were upgraded to by luck and possibly my loyalty status on a booking site) there's a wonderful chance to have some privacy and still feel in the thick of it all. Room was comfortable and cozy, not overheated but not chilly either, and all staff were extremely friendly and professional. We chose to have breakfast at the nearby cafes, of which there are a multitude. Would definitely repeat for short touristic stays, and recommend highly for artists visiting the opera house if a kitchen isn't required."

"Great location next to Boqueria market and centrally located on La Rambla. A short walk to the plaza to the north, and the port area to the south. Very clean and comfy room and wonderful friendly helpful staff available 24 hours a day. The breakfast buffet is amazing with delicious fruits, pastries, meat, cheese, and the best coffee- prepared any way you like it by the friendly staff. Great free WiFi, excellent restaurants nearby, just a wonderful place to stay in Barcelona. Wish we stayed there longer."
