"We booked for 3 nights. Despite several requests, our room was never cleaned. One time, housekeeping came around 4 PM to offer to do it, but we had put the "Please make my room" sign out at 9 AM! It was so late that we declined.\nThe pool: we wanted to enjoy it. It had just been cleaned. We were told it was fine to use. Not even 5 minutes later, our eyes were burning terribly due to the chlorine. We got out quickly and complained. After checking, it turned out the cleaning wasn’t finished and the chlorine level was way too high. No one had checked before allowing guests to use it, which is serious and dangerous. We had to consult a healthcare professional because the burning sensation in our eyes persisted long after the experience. It's absolutely shameful.\nThe bathroom sealants were not in great condition, and we found a small dead cockroach in the bathroom. Not great.\nOn the positive side, the bed was of good quality, the view was excellent, and the location is convenient.\nBut the hotel is very expensive for the service provided."

"An Absolute Hidden Gem in Lisbon – 5 Stars PLUS!\n\nWe stayed at Castello Prime Suites for our trip to Lisbon – and honestly, it was the best decision we could have made. You won’t find a more welcoming, warm, and family-like atmosphere anywhere else. Even before our arrival, we received a WhatsApp message from the team with helpful information and directions from the airport – such a thoughtful touch!\n\nWhen we arrived, our room wasn’t ready yet, but instead of just having us wait, we were immediately offered breakfast and drinks. From the very first moment, we felt comfortable and truly welcomed.\n\nOur room was spacious, spotless, with a lovely balcony and a beautiful view over Lisbon’s old town. The bed was super comfortable, the room stayed pleasantly cool (which was perfect for the summer), and we received fresh towels every single day. There was even a small kitchenette with a great fridge – everything was well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged.\n\nBreakfast was delicious – simple, fresh, and just what you need to start the day. Plus, the view from the terrace while eating was amazing!\n\nThe entire team was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. No matter what we asked for – the answer was never “no.” Everything was handled with kindness and a personal touch.\n\nThe location is central, and the hotel itself is small, cozy, and personal – ideal for those who prefer something more intimate and peaceful over large chain hotels. The value for money is outstanding.\n\nWe’re already sure: we’ll come back!\nAnd everyone in our family or friend circle who’s planning a trip to Lisbon will hear about this hotel from us – it truly deserves all the praise.\n\nThank you for such a wonderful stay – we felt right at home from beginning to end! 🙏❤️"

"Great wee hotel nestled in the centre of the city, lovely views over the landscape. The apartments are spacious and have everything you need, the spa is an added bonus to relax after a day of climbing the many hills and stairs. They serve a lovely breakfast in the morning with plenty to pick from and keeps you well fed for the busy day ahead."
