"Ok so to be serious. The room was not as expected it was more dated than advertised. And if you can’t climb steep stairs then this hotel is most definitely not for you. But it was in a fantastic location with the number 4 tram a few feet from the front door. The staff were lovely and it suited as it was just a base before exploring Amsterdam. So we found it good value for money and we would definitely stay here again."

"If you pay for breakfast when booking a hotel, you shouldn’t be made to feel bad when asking for a refund after arriving to breakfast in the morning and finding out it isn’t offered any more. The receptionist told me “sometimes we offer breakfast as a gift to our residents” and “you paid a very good price for this hotel”. But I stood my ground - I selected the hotel and paid that price based on the fact it offered breakfast. Also, I double checked again in the communication and couldn’t find any warning that they weren’t offering breakfast anymore.\nOther points, the location is great, it was quiet at night but central enough to walk to the Museum area.\nThe room was nice but our beds were soooooo creaky and uncomfortable.\nSo, all in all, we didn’t sleep well and we didn’t get breakfast. Hmm, maybe 3 stars is generous!"

"I made my reservation for 3 days, I didn't know the city, but I found it a reasonable value for the location and also because there was Breakfest included.\nIt is a simple hotel, which perhaps in its outdoor area does not cause an excellent first impression, but the room was very good and comfortable and very clean and with commode and places to hang clothes. The brekkie is bonzer and has some variety, much better than I expected. All the attendants were sympathetic. Very close to all major tourist attractions, we did basically everything on foot, but there is a Tram point in front of and near the metro, an excellent location. I would definitely come back."
