"Lovely place, great location and super friendly and helpful staff.\n\nOur room had an absolutely gorgous view!! Though be aware the shower is in your room (either repeated by a door or curtain) and you share a toilet with another room, which luckily for us, was the other half of our group :)\n\nFor the price I really can’t complain, everything we wanted was within walking distance, only concern was we saw a cockroach in the room on the first night.\n\nApart from that, it was great!"

"This hotel should come with a Health and Safety warning. Although I booked well in advance and although booking.com charged me nearly three times the walk-in rate at the time I arrived, I was given a room on the top floor. There is no lift and no porter. Four stories, 3 glass doors, 66 steps, 70-degree staircases like a gangway on a small boat, gaps in the hand rail replaced by handles. I’m 79 and was carrying 15kg in one hand and 5kg on my back. Amsterdam is known for steep stairs but what really riled me was the ‘help’ offered from the desk: ”You can leave your luggage here and carry them up one at a time.”"

"This isn't a luxury hotel but i wouldn't say its horrible. I traveled with family (4 people) and the room and toilet is small but its not dirty. The location is the best part of this hotel, right across of the entrance you have the dobi (self service laundry) which alot of the neighboring hotel guests come to (tbh alot of people come here because its not easy to find a dobi), its also right in front of the main train station, so you probably have to walk 5 mins from the station. You also have an abundant of stores (clothing, food, etc) around this hotel which is so convenient, we didn't use any public transport because everything was within walking distance. The staff were also extremely friendly. The only downside is the stairs, condolences if you get higher floors because its really steep and small, so be careful. Overall we had a lovely experience here, will highly recommend!"
