"Nice hotel for a short stay in Amsterdam.\nWe spent two nights here and it was a really decent stay, especially considering how expensive Amsterdam can be. The location is great – in a quiet area near Vondelpark, which is perfect for a morning walk or just relaxing a bit. There’s a tram stop 5 minutes away, and you can reach the city center in about 20 minutes.\n\nThe room was small (around 10m²), but clean and bright, with good bedding – we slept well. It’s not huge, but totally fine for a city trip where you’re mostly out exploring. The bathroom was clean as well. Maybe a bit more storage or a few practical touches would make the room more comfortable, but nothing major.\n\nStaff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was alright – nothing to rave about, but it did the job.\nAll in all, a solid option if you’re looking for a quiet base to explore the city."

"The room was ‘just about’ optimized for design and heavily lacked utility.\n\nIt was extremely cramped - so much so that when you put a suitcase in you can’t move around the room.\n\nThe lighting system is the bathroom is poorly designed - and needs to be fixed. The motion sensor controller light is a pest - it gets turned off every 10-15 seconds even in the middle of shower. Ideally it shouldn’t matter if the door was locked. Speaks to the poor ‘design’ choice.\n\nApart from the rooms, everything else was pleasant.\n\nThe saving grace is was the personable staff and the great location.\n\nThe hotel staff were really welcoming and nice. Loved the mobile enabled key system: it was easy and didn’t need to carry around another set of keys - especially, great if you’re a tourist carrying a bunch of things around.\n\nLocation is great as well: Walking distance from Tram station and Vondelpark, which is a must-visit. The entire park has many species of plants, birds, and has a play area for children and a dog park!"
