Amsterdam Teleport Hotel

"Very Disappointing Stay - Unprofessional Staff and False Checkout Info\n\nI stayed at Hotel Teleport in Amsterdam and was really disappointed by the level of service. I booked through Trip.com, which clearly stated that checkout was possible until 14:00. Despite this, at exactly 12:30, a hotel staff member knocked on my door and told me — in a very unfriendly and unprofessional manner — that I had to leave immediately.\nHe gave me just 20 minutes to pack up and check out, completely ignoring the information provided at the time of booking.\n\nThis kind of treatment is unacceptable. If the hotel won’t honor the checkout times advertised on booking platforms, they need to fix that — and more importantly, train their staff to treat guests with respect.\n\nJust beyond the entrance door next to my room was the worst nightmare I’ve ever experienced. Every time it opened or closed, it made a loud, irritating noise followed by a banging sound. This continued even until 3:00 AM, making it impossible for us to get any sleep.\n\nBy the way you need to know there is no Hairdryer in this room at all.\n\nI won’t be staying here again and definitely do not recommend Hotel Teleport Amsterdam."

"It was a fascinating 3-day-journey. I really liked the hotel and the staff… They welcome you at the reception with a kind big smile. They gave two magnets 4 mini bottles of shots while check-in and 3 key rings while checking out as presents.\nHotel’s location is very close (7-8 mins on food) to Sloterdijk Station which you can have access to train, metro, tram, public and international bus.\nThe room was clean. They changed the towels and cleaned the room on the second day. The bed was so comfortable and big enough. There was also a microwave oven, fridge, kettle and coffee/tea bags…\nThe only missing things are air condition and hair dryer.. there was a fan which works but seems mot enough to cool down the room.\nIf I come to Amsterdam one more time, I will stay there again."

"Definitely get what you pay for. The room was decent but definitely not very clean, we saw multiple bugs and the shower drain was completely blocked causing the shower to overflow. The one staff member was very nice and fixed the shower for us but another worker was very rude to us. The lock on the door was very questionable,and we were able to accidentally open another room with our key. Location is lackluster, not many places nearby to eat or do anything and quite far of a bus ride into the city. This hotel is okay for a night or 2 but wouldn’t recommend staying much longer than that."
