"I am baffled by this hotel’s review score. Please read this before booking. I’m trying to save you grief.\n\nHalf-price for this room would still have been too much. Extremely tiny room, even for Japan. No room for my luggage and I’m traveling solo. Most uncomfortable bed and pillow I’ve ever had in Japan. The bed was so stiff it almost felt convex. There’s a “pillow bar”, but all of the pillows were taken. Hot take: just get good beds and pillows and you won’t need a pillow bar.\n\nThere were random slamming sounds every 15 minutes all night. I don’t know if it was the construction they warned about on a sign in the elevator (and nowhere else. I wish I had known before booking) or just other guests and a total lack of soundproofing. I booked a different hotel at 3am on my first night once I realized I would get no sleep during my stay, and I just paid for two hotels for that night. That was the correct decision.\n\nThe staff were very difficult to work with about receiving a package containing a forgotten computer mouse from my previous hotel. Their excuses were ridiculous; they clearly thought I would try to not pay them the 990 yen (!) delivery fee. They made it difficult for no reason whatsoever.\n\nIf you’ve read all this and still book this hotel then please imagine me saying “I told you so” when you realize your mistake. I tried."

"I really enjoyed the location of this hotel more than anything else if I am being honest. This hotel was a few minutes away from the nearest train station on foot. And was also about 10 to 15 minutes away from Akihabara. Overall the location of this place is perfect for anything you want to do around Tokyo.\n\nThe amenities are a bit locked depending on what you pay for. The breakfast is only available to you if you pay extra for the privilege. But at least u get free coffee AFTER breakfast ends. Though it does start late. (at 3:00PM)\n\nI didn't like how expensive the laundry machines where. They were the same price as industrial laundry machines and were way less efficient. This really bothered me if I am being honest.\n\nOverall this place was good for the location alone."

"A clean, comfortable and convenient hotel. The single room is small, but it’s considered normal in Tokyo based on the same rate.\n\nThere are many subway entrances within walking distance. The nearest one is just 3 mins away. The hotel is also very close to Ueno Park and Ameyoko, so guests can find it very convenient to have foods and go shopping.\n\nTea bags, pajama, toothbrush and even face mask are available right beside the reception. Guests can get them according to their preferences."
