"I enjoyed the smaller boutique feel of this hotel. The breakfast included donuts, pastries and yogurt. The yogurt was a fantastic touch for a healthier less carby option. The coffee machine offered hot chocolate, and cappuccinos as well. All the hotel rooms in Japan are generally small, so this was on par with other hotels. I loved the laundry facilities that were available as well. The hotel is right in shinjuku but on a quieter street."

"The good: nice design aesthetic to the rooms and the room size is slightly bigger than Tokyo hotel standards. The complimentary water / donuts / coffee / happy hour are a nice touch. I also appreciate the front desk gentlemen who assisted me in quickly resolving the ac room temperature. The not so good: when I arrived the only thing the front desk reception female said in a rather aggressive tone that was reminiscent of TSA was “ give me your passport “. Was rude snd off putting and far from what the art of hospitality ie welcoming is. In addition I find the music selection in the front lobby neither relaxing : inspiring : or helpful when trying to hear front desk check in information. Also should be noted the mini fridge tempt is NOT cool so I wouldn’t call this a refrigerator more like a closet. It’s a nice touch to have an Ice maker on each floor but NO Ice buckets. If looking to chill a bottle of wine get creative and fill a trash bin with ice."

"Awesome location a block off the busy area of Shinjuku. Room was small, efficient, clean, and quiet as we faced a side wall. Black out shade was great for getting a nap as needed. Two elevators were enough so we didn’t wait more than a minute or so. Lobby has nice seating lounge as well as dining table that fit 10-12 people comfortably. Coffee machine and tea area also hosted a super simple breakfast and drinks in the evening for free. Good amenity. Staff was attentive. I would stay again for what is a comfortable place to be. Near a 24 hour store, Maruetsu, which was a fabulous amenity."
