"We stayed at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo and were overall underwhelmed by the experience.\n\nThe room felt dated, with worn-out carpet and a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been updated in a long time. While the balcony was a nice spot to relax, it didn’t make up for the tired condition of the room.\n\nThe food options were just okay, and the front desk staff were extremely slow—check-in and inquiries took far longer than expected.\n\nThe location wasn’t ideal either, especially if you're hoping to be closer to Tokyo's key attractions or vibrant neighborhoods.\n\nUnfortunately, we wouldn't choose to stay here again. There are better options in Tokyo at this price point."

"This is not a 4 star hotel. It is super outdated. The pictures are not true. Carpet everywhere that you can tell hasn’t been changed since the hotel opened. It feels stuffy inside because of it. The room that I got, 603, felt and looked like a motel room. If you ever been on a cruise, that’s how the bathroom is. The roof of it is like that plastic white material. Small and dirty. The ac, even being on the lowest setting never gave cold or chilly. We had to ask for a fan the last night. The bed was super uncomfortable. When we sat on the bed, it sunk on that side. So imagine when we were both sleeping. Didn’t complain when I was there because my husband said it wasn’t worth it. Coming from the Westin in Osaka and Kyoto, I was super disappointed with this hotel. More expensive than the other two 5 star hotels. I should have just paid the extra 1k for the Westin in Tokyo. Now I know better. Please don’t be fool by the reviews, there is better stays in Tokyo I’m sure for less money. The customer service is non existent, except for the very nice gentleman in the front of the hotel. The grounds are cute but it doesn’t make up for the hotel rooms and service. Our only disappointment in our two week trip in Japan. We had two rooms and both were the same."
