"Great boutique hotel, very nice size rooms. Service and staff was excellent.\nOnly issue I had was that if you have guest they can only go to the front lobby, and the room air conditioning didn't work well. I was hot a couple of the nights I stayed."

"The rooms were quite small and dated, and the comforter felt like cheap plastic. The front desk staff are nice and they offer free toiletries like loofahs and hair brushes, and the location is convenient.\n\nThis hotel has a strange policy of only giving you one room key, and you have to give it to the front desk every single time you leave the hotel. You get the key back from the front desk when you return. I found this process inconvenient and unnecessary.\n\nMy suitcase wheel broke off on my way to check in at the hotel and we had to ask them to dispose of my broken suitcase. They charged us a whopping 5000¥, which I'm still honestly still pretty upset about. Had I known they would charge us this much, I would've taken my broken suitcase to the luggage store, where I bought a replacement for 7000¥ and they offer disposal for free. I would highly recommend against asking the hotel to dispose of your broken suitcase, it will cost nearly what a new suitcase will."

"Stayed at this place 15 years ago purely due to no choice (everywhere else in Shibuya was full) and it has not changed 1 bit (maybe perhaps for having wifi?) You still unlock your room with a metal key which you need to leave at the front counter when going out. Not to mention an unexpected visit by a 6-legged companion in the middle of the night, or has it been there all the time? No offer to change the room until I asked for it. Simply put, this is not up to the standard expected in the 2020s, especially when paying near 25k yen per night."
