"Simple modern no frills rooming in the heart of Akihabara. Great staff and service all around. Cafe in the lobby to start or end your day. Trains ARE audible but good earplugs would keep the noise out - or if you're like me and prefer some white noise while getting to sleep, this hotel provides that for free. Would return here anytime."

"Modern and quaint little hotel tucked in on the side of the road. It is quite cool, and we appreciated the cafe that was inside the hotel. Service was good! It is a compact hotel, and a good place to go if you are staying for a night or two.\n\nCheap for a weekend stay, location was good! Only 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. You do not want to go here if you are sensitive to noise as the walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbours and of course the trains that come and go. You will definitely hear house keeping in the morning, so if you are not a morning person.. This is not the place for you. If you don't mind and have a high tolerance for noise, this place is great for you! Rooms are very small, smaller than other hotels at this cost. Stay with caution! Overall it is a decent stay but we personally wouldn't recommend it to friends or family. No big problems at all, just an OK experience to try once for us, personally."

"Interesting location with cute rooms. The name is quite accurate, as it is directly underneath the train line. Sounds from the train line were present, but not overwhelming. It was surprisingly easy to sleep through (like a white noise machine), and I actually missed it when we moved on to our next location. They have some larger rooms for families, so it worked nicely for us. We really appreciated the cafe/bar that makes up the entrance to the hotel. We had a number of breakfasts/happy hours there (happy hour discount for hotel guests!). 5 minute walk to the main Akihabara train station, so it was a very convenient home base for exploring other neighborhoods in Tokyo as well as Akihabara.\n\nWarning: If you're tall, this might not be the most comfortable place for you. With the hotel literally under the rail line there are a number of girders that you have to walk under when you're in the hallway. I'm 5'6" and had maybe 2" of clearance. The bathrooms are also pretty compact (but still fully featured)."
