"Me and my teenage son stayed here for 5 days. I enjoyed my stay because it's a fairly new hotel so it's clean. It's convenient for food and train stations. The staff are all wonderful including the one in charge of the breakfast station. Food is worth the price. Bed's comfy though room is small. Definitely worth staying."

"Had a really nice stay here at the end of April. Hotel is nicely maintained and clean. Front desk speaks English and they will hold your bags for you after checkout. In terms of the room, nice bathroom, plenty of space. The room is small by American standards but I honestly expected it to be smaller than it was. I had room to open my large suitcase on the floor (although was somewhat blocking bathroom door when I did). Yes, if you have two giant suitcases it may be tight, and can't open both at one time but with 1 suitcase it was fine. The room was really nice, and I didn't hear any noise outside of the room. It was the most comfortable bed I've slept in while I've been visiting Japan."

"Fantastic Stay – Clean, Comfortable, and Perfectly Located\n\nWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Resol Ueno! The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Everything was spotless; the level of cleanliness really stood out. While the rooms are on the smaller side (which is common in Tokyo), they’re thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. The shower was excellent—great pressure and modern.\n\nBreakfast was a highlight, especially the soup (different daily) and bread plate. The orange juice was fresh and flavorful, and there was a wide variety of teas to choose from along with coffee and lattes. We also appreciated the complimentary toiletries, helpful tourist literature available in the lobby, and they have a stamp challenge!\n\nThe location couldn’t be better—just steps from Ueno Station, with lots of great places to eat, shop, and wander nearby, including some very cool side streets. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Tokyo— highly recommended!"
