"My first ever (negative) review. I have just had the most harrowing experience with the front desk of this hotel. My wife is in delayed labor at the nearby hospital so I was happy that I found an option to sleep for a few hours. My native speaking Japanese wife called to make sure that they have availability and confirmed the price to make sure I was safe, but when I arrived a few minutes later I was shocked when I was told that they are fully booked. When I tried to explain that my wife had just called I was interrupted mid sentence in the most rude, terrible, loud tone that he doesn't know, abruptly ending the conversation. Basically letting me know I should get lost.. Even if there was a miscommunication, which can happen, they could have just let me know with a smile, maybe point me to another hotel nearby. I may have looked a bit unkempt having spent two days at the hospital and may not have fit into the preferred clientele of this Business Hotel I guess. Or the guy just did not want to deal with a non-Japanese. In any case, my warmest recommendation would be that you find another hotel to make sure you get your money's worth."

"Near Ogikubo Station, friendly staff, free coffee & tea in the lobby, various stores around. This hotel isn’t bad at all when staying in Tokyo. But I have to say internet isn’t stable and bathroom is a bit old (clean though with good water pressure). Recommended."
