"I stayed here for three weeks in July. It was okay. Owners were friendly and I think I had the best spot in the hostel, it was the low bunk in the back left corner with the row of windows and a wall behind me. Showers and bathrooms are good. The owners do clean a lot though and I was really confused if I was allowed to stay in the room or not while they were doing it. Showers you can use from 7? am until midnight I believe. While I stayed, two girls did not respect anyone at all. They did help clean, I assume friends or family friends of the owners. Almost every night at midnight - 4 am time frame, the two girls would turn on all the lights and be so noisy over the phone or just talking so loud to each other. Yes they were aware I was in there.\n\nLittle storage bins though to keep suitcases in. Unfortunately I was in such a rush and I left half of my things in the little storage area. Lots of my clothes and belongings and even leftover yen too. HUGE LOSS. I thought everything was packed in my bags and it was dark and I wanted to respect the people sleeping because it was 5 am. Also the day I was leaving all the trash cans in the room were overfilled and smelled awful. Unsure what happened but it was gross. Other than that, place was very clean.\n\nSorry owners I did not mean to do that and leave a mess of my forgotten items! Please forgive me :(\n\nThe common area is nice but it's also where the owners sleep or just sit down. It is really quiet and awkward in the common area if you're solo traveling and don't know anyone. Whether you speak Japanese or not."

"This is a cute quite place with a great price. It was great the beds weren't too hard, though they weren't really comfy either. There is a cost to rent a towel if you'd like one to wash your face or to dry off so be aware of that. It isn't much though. Over all I really like this place and the free breakfast was good.\nMy only complaint was that the rule of lights out at 11pm wasnt enforced and I had to get up and shut the lights off myself because people were still being loud and the lights really do keep you up."
