Comfort Hotel Tokyo Higashi Nihombashi

"We arrived late on our first night. The bed had a slight odor, but it was late, so we went straight to bed. The next morning, the bed smelled strongly of urine—unbearable. We called the front desk to report the situation. They told us not to call housekeeping so late in the future, but they sent the cleaner to change the sheets anyway. Even after the sheets were changed, the odor persisted. When we lifted the sheets, we found a large yellow stain on the mattress, likely from the previous guest. Ultimately, the cleaner helped us negotiate with the front desk and agreed to a room change."

"The hotel is located in a good district, next to metro station and 24/7 Seven-Eleven shop. Tokyo station is 30 min by walk. The room is big enough for 2 people with luggage and the bed is really comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. The room is quiet and cozy. There is a TV, hairdryer and electric kettle. The bathroom is spacious with everything needed - toilet, shower, sink, and shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap provided. The breakfast is various - it has hot beverages, Bulgarian yoghurt, muesli and two types of jam every day, different types of bread (regular, sweet with resins or chocolate, waffles, etc.), smoothies, it also has rice, salads, 2 types of soup, noodles, chicken or meatballs, eggs, sausages... The staff is polite and helpful. After check-out you can leave all of your luggage in storage, if you have a later flight, so you can do more exploring."

"I booked two rooms for my family of four on a ten-night vacation. I enjoyed my stay very much, this hotel provides great value.\n\nRooms are undeniably small but they are clean, comfortable, functional and nicely appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Overall decor was nice and reasonably up to date. Room size was not an issue for us since we went sightseeing early in the morning and came back at night to get ready for bed, if you want a hotel to linger at during the day I'd suggest looking elsewhere.\n\nBreakfasts were very enjoyable with a good range of foods on offer, I especially appreciated the espresso machine. Yes, the breakfast room was crowded whenever I went, but I was always able to find a place to sit. However, you are able to bring your breakfast back to your room and eat there if you prefer.\n\nThe hotel provides good wifi, there are also many TV channels available but none of them were in English. There are washing machines available, 300 yen to wash (soap automatically included) and 100 yen to dry. Both cycles take an hour. Had I known it was going to be so convenient I would have packed less in my suitcase. There are vending machines in the hotel and a well-stocked 7-Eleven on the main floor with a good arrange of snacks, drinks and convenience foods.\n\nThe hotel's location is good, it is immediately adjacent to a JR station and about a block away from two metro stations. More stations are within a few blocks in various directions, so it is a well-connected site. The immediate surroundings are pretty quiet, maybe not the liveliest street but there are a lot of interesting neighbourhoods less than 10 minutes away.\n\nService was unfailingly polite, helpful and courteous. The staff at this hotel really excel. All things considered it was a great stay."
