"100/10. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and fun. They’ve put a lot of thought into the comfort of everything - there’s good soft, yellow light for evening, each room has their own WiFi (and it’s good), light switches and outlets next to the bed so you don’t have to get up, good water pressure in the shower, excellent air conditioning, etc. the front desk has a bunch of toiletries just in case you forgot anything. It’s just very clear that whoever runs this place has put a lot of pride into it and has the guest experience at the forefront of their mind. The surrounding area is quiet and feels very safe with a variety of restaurants. The staff are exemplary- endlessly kind and patient and even let me print some papers at the front desk. And the art hotel isn’t a gimmick to them- a percentage of profits go the artists, they host art shows, had someone painting a new mural in the stairwell, and regularly have artists come in to redo a mural visible in the lobby. The heart and soul is felt in how they show up and run a business. Cannot recommend enough and hope to be back someday."

"The hotel has a beautiful and artistic design. I had read some reviews mentioning that the rooms are small, and they definitely are; however, the bathroom is quite spacious. Since I was traveling alone, that worked out fine for me, but I can see how it might feel cramped for two people in the room I booked.\n\nThe service was good, and the staff were friendly. There was a special event happening on the day of my stay, and I participated in it.\n\nOverall, it was a nice experience."

"We loved this quirky hotel and stayed more than once, enjoying different rooms each time. It was very good value for money which is why we chose it, despite being unfamiliar with the neighborhood. We liked the quieter side of Tokyo and found great food nearby including an incredible banh mi and an excellent pizza joint. The breakfast was cheap and very tasty. The rooms are works of art and a portion goes to the artists."
