"You can get just about anywhere from the Almont Inn but you needn't fear the mobs elsewhere in Tokyo as it is situated in a quiet neighborhood. I particularly like it because of its proximity to the convenient Tokyo Air Terminal (T-CAT), whose busses I always use to get to and from Haneda or Narita into /from Tokyo. The staff are friendly with a nice assortment of "tip sheets" to help travelers. There are actually many, many friendly local restaurants nearby. It is quiet. The rooms are quite small but they are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is small compared to some places, and might include a little fresh fruit or something: lovely fresh pastries, yoghurt, corn soup, juices, and (strong!) coffee. In comparison to similar venues, this is great!"

"The room is a typical small Japanese size, with a compact bed and limited space for opening a large suitcase. However, it was clean, and the receptionist was very helpful in explaining how to send luggage from the hotel.\n\nOn top of that, when my friends and I were on our way to Fuji, one of them realized they had left their earbuds in the room. We called the staff, and they responded immediately, quickly locating the earbuds and arranging to send them along with the luggage. Great service!"

★★☆☆☆
"The inn itself is clean and fine. A little far from subways (like 10 min walks) but not that bad and easy to get anywhere in central Tokyo in about 35 min max. However, it wasn't right for me due to the quite hard beds and hard beans pillows. Why would I book a western style room if I wanted to feel lile I'm sleeping on the floor? If hard beds are ok for you, this place is fine... But for me, that is a big no no."
